Most houses use door mats, but many are not sticky door mats. A sticky door mat is similar to a standard door mat, with the exception that are sticky on the top. This means that when you use a sticky door mat, you will not have to remind people to wipe their feet before entering your home.

And kids can and will be messy. In a moment of excitement little can be done to stop them from barging back in the house with terribly filthy shoe bottoms. Most kids will not even consider wiping their feet as they enter your house leaving your tile or carpet completely vulnerable to all kinds of messes. Kids do not think about these things. They won’t hesitate when they rip their shoes off their feet and plop the dirty little things on the floor.
Sticky floor mats prevent this from happening, because the dirt and grime is sure to stick to the mat. The only worry you would have is if your child simply jumps over the doormat or only places on foot on it.
You Will Have Less Cleaning
Many modern homes are designed with all-tile flooring. And if you have kids and pets, you’re constantly sweeping and away dirt and mopping up mud. Yikes. Since sticky mats are made to trap so much of the dirt that normally gets left on your floor, you will soon discover that you aren’t cleaning as often as before (at least not the floors).

For those of you who have a home that was designed with wall to wall carpeting, you know that your carpets quickly become dull and dingy after just a few months of foot traffic from children and/or pets.
