If you are planning your own vacation or other people’s vacations, there are many things that you should take into consideration. In fact, the most important thing is the budget!

When looking at an ad for a vacation, that is not the complete price of the vacation. In fact, that is usually for the basic accommodations. In fact, many times you will have to pay extra because the ad was expired.

Another thing to think about is which type of room you are going to be bunking in. Most often everyday people are stuck in cabins on the lowest deck; which are small and cramped! If you are a new to a cruise ship, go for the good rooms which feel more like a room in the hotel Dali in Florence, Italy!

When it comes to the prices of the rooms; they will vary. In fact, the average price for an ocean view room over an inside cabin room is $150-200 more per room per person. However, that is definitely something that you will have to watch when booking your trip! Especially if you are getting charged more for being a single ticket than a double ticket! You may also expect to pay extra money if you want balcony or veranda room; which is an additional $150-$200 per room per person! For many, the extra charge is well worth the money!

With each cruise, the prices will be different, especially by what time of year it is as well as other factors. Besides the prices of cabins, there are many other things to spend your money on; both on and off the ship! Buying all the drinks, clothing, and gifts can really add up! That is when budgeting really comes in hand!

When planning on your vacation, allow enough time to find the best prices! Not only that, but then you will be able to travel when you want; not when the prices are at the lowest! Not only that, but then you will be able to have the “self catering” vacation that you always wanted!! Nice and quiet, but fun and on a cruise ship!!
